Elegance of Curtains: Capturing the Essence of Spring

As the wind rises and falls, curtains gently flutter, capturing the charm of the wind and transforming the scenery into poetic images. Curtains are not only masters at creating home ambiance but also a moving landscape. A room with elegant texture certainly cannot be without soft fabric elements. Spring is fading, and summer is about to arrive. Spring has the brilliance of a hundred flowers, but they will eventually leave the trees. In the blink of an eye, spring is about to depart. So, how can we use curtains to ‘keep spring’?

The Flower-Covered Curtain, adorned with small flowers, looks like a print at first glance, but it is actually filled with fresh flowers. This is a project by Japanese textile designer, Akane Moriyama. All materials used to make the curtains are pure natural plants, and there are over 100 small pockets on the curtains for placing fresh flowers. Simple decoration captures the fleeting beauty of flowers and plants. Pick a few wildflowers, discover their vibrant colors while they are still fragrant, and capture the image of flowers and leaves before they wither, along with the imprint of spring, on the fabric, to be weathered by time.

Flower × Curtain Creativity: Combining fresh flowers with curtains, choose your favorite flowers as an element to decorate your space. This is magic, an emotional exchange between people and flowers, a ‘care’ sentiment that flows from a pair of warm hands. And these curtains will also change with the seasons, such as fragrance, color, and atmosphere. What kind of flowers bloom in each season, people can choose these flowers to decorate. In every heartfelt work, there is the warmth of love. It is the reluctance to let go of spring, the love for nature, and our attitude towards life. Upon hearing the language of spring’s flowers, the curtains sway, and the fragrance of flowers overflows, intoxicating, taking a deep breath, all filled with the scent of spring.
