This is a tutorial for a beautiful, practical and simple pillow cushion. It is a fabric DIY home decoration item. The knitting and fabric are combined perfectly, creating a great effect.
Firstly, print the pattern. Transfer the pattern onto the fabric.
Knit the woolen thread, use running stitch, 6 – 8 stitches. (It is necessary to test whether the wool will fade first. Wash the wool together with white fabric.)
Fix the woolen thread along the pattern line. Embroider the woolen thread onto the fabric with the invisible stitch (using embroidery thread of the same color as the wool).
This is the effect after embroidery.
Now start making the cushion. Cut a square of 50 * 50 cm, with the pattern in the center.
Align the fabric of the front and back of the cushion and fix it with pins. (The back fabric is 50 * 40 cm.)
Align another piece of fabric on the back. (Another piece of fabric is 50 * 30 cm.)
Sew around. Overlock around.
This is the effect after turning it to the front.
Knit another woolen thread, with a length that can go around the cushion. Add a few more stitches than the original 6 – 8 stitches.
Embroider the woolen thread around the cushion. The wool – embroidered cushion is completed.
This is the effect after stuffing the pillow core.
Here are the production effects of different colors and patterns.
